You’ll provide vital support, ensuring the smooth flow of legal documentation and client communication.Day to Day:
* Prepare and type legal documents from handwritten notes or digital dictation
* Manage files, including opening, closing, and maintaining records
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (scanning, emailing, and faxing)
* Organise meetings and manage Fee Earners' diaries
* Answer calls, take messages, and assist with new enquiries
* Support colleagues across the firm when needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a legal secretary role (Probate experience strongly preferred)
* Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word (PowerPoint and Excel are a bonus!)
* Excellent telephone and communication skills
* A keen interest in legal matters and the ability to maintain confidentiality
* A well-organised, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Professional and smart appearance
