Responsibilities
* Manage the UK freight Tender process and create partnerships with freight forwarders.
* Manage the UK bottling contracts and the associated spend.
* Manage group packaging requirements – tender & inventory management.
* Formal tender process for other high-value procurement elements.
* Understand and analyse all spend in the UK (Bolney, Slurp, FXC and Jascots).
* Ensure contracts are in place for the spend and compliance with BRC requirements.
* Create spend trackers and manage them.
* Work with Group and subsidiaries to unlock existing contracts.
* Manage synergies agreements across the subsidiaries and group.
* Management and review of capex in line with key stakeholders.
* Record contracts on ERP where appropriate.
* Clear documentation of vendors, due diligence, and management of invoices/payment terms including supporting gifting dept. to align with group policy.
* Drive continuous improvements and use procurement strategies.
* Continuously improve the end-to-end UK Supply & Customer ordering process.
* Review Payment Days and look to extend where appropriate.
* Create monthly KPIs and report to the Head of Procurement.
* Other tasks to manage include gas, electricity, glass, dry materials, service contracts, insurance, gifting spend, storage costs, and grape procurement.
Experience
* Knowledge of indirect procurement.
* Experience within Supply Chain, purchasing, and business needs.
* Experience within the drinks industry and/or freight procurement is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of SAP is desirable as is a CIPS qualification.
