The post holder will provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the specialist caseload across various sites within the SBUHB as the service requires, having satisfactorily completed a range of core rotations in a variety of specialties. They will manage a defined caseload of clients with complex needs within this setting, using evidence-based/client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions, maintaining associated records.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
1. To recognise good personal time management, punctuality, and consistent reliable attendance, planning and prioritising own client workload to meet service and patient priorities, readjusting plans as situations/changes arise.
2. To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and knowledge of treatment skills.
3. Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner responsible for the management of your own workload and caseload within a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision. Plan and organise a number of complex activities/intervention programmes which require the formulation/adjustment of plans.
4. Follow the standards of practice for Physiotherapy and ensure that minimum requirements are met (CSP Health Board, departmental and service specific). Implement policies, propose, and contribute to changes in working practices/procedures for own area.

Qualifications & Knowledge
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registration
* Contribution to clinical education/supervision of other staff/students
Experience
* Experience of working in an NHS Physiotherapy Department
* Broad range of experience as an NHS rotational Physiotherapist
* Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team/MDT team
Aptitude and Abilities
* Ability to travel between SBU HB sites in a timely manner for patient care
* Ability to organise/prioritise and delegate effectively
