About the Role Level 5 Contract: Permanent Location: London Department: Research This role will provide investment recommendations and research to Quilter Cheviot investment managers. Your duties will include: Responsible for analysis of several equity market sectors. Develop a good understanding of the sectors, their constituents and share price drivers Maintain active recommendations on 40-50 equities in the UK, Europe and the US. Generate effective, timely investment recommendations Keep electronic stock databases up-to-date Communicate stock and sector recommendations effectively and persuasively in both verbal and written settings. Attendance and contribution at morning and other investment meetings Inform fund managers of significant developments and events Play an active part in the Company's central investment process including contributing to model portfolio process Carry out sector presentations to London investment teams and regional offices (travel to offices as required). Contribution to marketing activities (articles, presentations) as required About You CFA charter holder or part qualified. Equity research analysis experience (buy side preferred). Generalist with some experience of analysing financial sectors preferable. Knowledge of Factset useful. Ability to prioritise workloads and complete timely analysis. Communicates clearly, listens effectively. Written communication is concise and well presented, using appropriate grammar, style and language. Has technical knowledge appropriate to the role, including relevant computer systems and keeps this knowledge up to date.
