Youll be joining us as we move from mostly on-premises servers to delivering data and services in the Cloud, using both Azure and the National Data Resource. Youll be pivotal in ensuring that the needs of business owners and our digital and data teams are met and will help to ensure that we meet Welsh standards and architectural principles in the design and delivery of the programme. Delivering succinct assurance to portfolio Boards and developing business cases for further investment rounds will be second nature to you. As our Cloud transition programme manager, youll be helping to keeping peoples most sensitive data safe and secure, and protecting the health of people in Wales. Main duties of the job You will be expert in delivering programmes and projects using Lean and Agile principles and methods. Youll be responsible for planning training, communications, lining up integrations with other NHS systems, coordinating the reports and providing assurance for the delivery. Leading a multidisciplinary team, youll have a central role in managing the relationship between our in-house experts. Youll be responsible for managing the vision, definition and benefits of the programme, as well as the resources and any risks to delivering on time and on budget. Youll be monitoring and reporting on aspects of the programme such as progress, compliance with standards, delivery confidence, quality and the capacity of the organisation to maintain the service once live. As a senior leader, youll also have a role to play supporting the wider teams in PHW, and wed expect you to bring your expertise to support and mentor the growing PPM community across the organisation. Job responsibilities As a senior member of the team, your role will be wide-ranging and demand a broad set of skills. You will be part of our management group, helping to provide day-to-day support and strategic direction for the team, alongside the Principal Analysts and the Head of the Analysis Team. You will lead important projects, and project teams, using an Agile approach. You will negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and you will apply your technical expertise and public health knowledge to the development of quality-assured analytical products that meet our users needs. You will also take on a technical leadership role for particular datasets or analytical techniques. Crucially, you will support the development of our more junior analysts, through both line management and the provision of in-house training and advice. Person Specification Qualifications and Knowledge Essential • oEducated to masters degree level or equivalent experience. • Evidence of continued professional development. • oProject and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience.
