Positioned at the heart of the Prax Group's integrated vision, Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery is critical UK infrastructure, providing the fuels needed to keep the country moving. Headquartered in London, the Prax Group is a British multinational, independent global energy conglomerate dealing in crude oil, petroleum products and biofuels and is the only British refiner remaining in the UK energy market.
Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery located in North Lincolnshire is a key asset for the Prax Group and is a world-class supplier of quality fuels. Constructed in 1968, it has the capacity to process up to 5.4 million tonnes of crude oil per year (up to 113,000 barrels a day) and currently employs around 450 staff in addition to a similar complement of contract personnel. The refinery extends over 500 acres and incorporates some of the most advanced refining and conversion processes in Europe, supplying products by road, rail, sea and pipeline.
To meet future demands, Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery is developing a next generation refinery with an unwavering commitment to decarbonise and reduce our CO2 released into atmosphere, as the site transitions to become a leading, low carbon refinery. We are investing heavily for the long-term and are actively looking for new talent that can support our journey.
