**Job Title: Headteacher**
**Location: Oakfield House School, Salwick, Preston**
**Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum dependent on experience**
**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday**
**Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only**

team at Oakfield House School in Salwick, Preston. As Headteacher, you will
promote a relentless focus on high quality, creative learning, delivering our
pupils educational needs, maximising pupil’s achievement, and their ability to
develop.
**About the role**
As a Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on high quality,

As Headteacher you will have an infrastructure of support from central
services for finance, resourcing, HR and IT including a network of supportive
Headteachers from other schools alongside central school improvement support.
You will create a shared vision and strategic plan which inspires and
motivates pupils, staff and all other members of the school community. This
vision should express core educational values and moral purpose and be
inclusive of stakeholders’ values and beliefs. The strategic planning process
is critical to sustaining school improvement and ensuring that the school
moves forward for the benefit of its pupils.
Essential
* Relevant experience in the specialist area of the service i.e., relevant experience of working with young peopleyoung adults with autistic spectrum disorders andor challenging behaviour
* Relevant experience as a Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher
* Experience of Ofsted procedures inspections
* Managing budgets effectively and ensuring cost efficiency
* Relevant Teaching Qualification

**About us**
Oakfield House School is a specialist Primary School for autistic pupils and
those associated with AutismLearning or Complex Communication and Behaviour
needs. The school has a strong and committed leadership team. Our school is a
country house built in the 1880s, set in eight acres of beautiful parkland.
We cater for 45 boys and girls aged between 4 – 12 years old.
The Site is situated in Salwick near Preston and are within commutable
distance from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland and surrounding areas.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils
and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of
