London, Marylebone, Salary £60K - £70K gross per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for a 5-star career Nanny to join a busy, young family based in Marylebone, London, to care for their two children aged 2.5 years and 9 months.
Duties include:
* Flexible sole and shared charge of the children
* Ensuring a happy and consistent environment for the children daily
* Maintaining and implementing routines
* Taking the children outside of the home to classes and on creative adventures
* Intellectually stimulating the children
* Child-related event organisation
* Regular communication on development of child including documenting key moments and sending periodic photos to the broader family
* Packing and travelling with the family
* Child-related housekeeping duties such as the washing and ironing of children’s clothes
* Cooking the children’s meals from scratch and understanding the importance of a healthy diet
Candidate requirements:
* At least five years caring for children of a similar age, within a busy, staffed household
* Team player working together with members of the family
* Discreet and professional whilst being personable and gentle
* Punctual, organised, and efficient self-starter; calm under pressure
* Developmentally focused, family-orientated, sociable, growth mindset, and lover of the outdoors
* A second language: Farsi, Mandarin, or French
* Experienced in seasonal work, eg. able to ski, swim, experience on yachts etc.
* Flexible to travel extensively and for extended periods with the family
* UK driver (desirable) – car provided
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7.00am – 7.00pm, with some evenings babysitting in addition.
Accommodation: Client is open to both live-in or live-out. If live-in, a separate flat will be provided, with a living space, kitchen, and bedroom. During the workday, the second bedroom of this flat is used as a home-office by the parents. Despite the separation, occasionally there will be instances where the Nanny will be required to stay in the main flat during the evenings to babysit (the children reliably sleep through the night) or to sleep in the main flat if the parents are travelling out of town.
