Breakfast Club Manager – Sherard Primary School

We are seeking to recruit a Breakfast Club Manager to work at Sherard Primary school, to start in August 2025, working 7.00am – 9.00am, Monday – Friday, for 10 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks).
Reporting to the Headteacher, the role of Breakfast Club Manager is to lead and manage all aspects of the club, leading and working as part of a team to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment.
Experience of working within a similar role with children and the ability to understand key policies e.g. Child Protection and Behaviour Management are essential. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be able to work flexibly within the team and will be respectful and caring towards the pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all aspects of the Breakfast Club.
2. Ensure a safe and friendly environment for children to eat and play.
3. Work collaboratively with the team and uphold child protection and behavior management policies.
About the Mowbray Education Trust
The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a Multi-Academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton. The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school: with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future. Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.
