My client is a leading engineering consultancy renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the building services sector. With a team of 40 experienced engineers, they specialize in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, consistently pushing the boundaries of design excellence and efficiency.
Role Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Health Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public health engineering within the building services industry and a passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions in water, drainage, and fire protection systems across various project types.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage public health engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
2. Develop and review detailed designs for water supply, sanitation, drainage, and rainwater systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
3. Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions.
4. Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative team environment.
5. Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
6. Stay updated with the latest public health engineering trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain and enhance the quality of services provided.
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, with a focus on Public Health Engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in public health engineering within the building services sector.
4. Proven track record in leading public health projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
5. Strong knowledge of relevant public health codes, standards, and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
7. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant public health engineering tools.
