The Role:
As the Senior Operational Lead - Sterile and Aseptic Manufacturing, you'll be the driving force behind the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacture of veterinary products. You'll lead high-performing teams, champion regulatory excellence, and steer operational transformations to deliver exceptional results.
What You'll Do:
1. Inspire and lead large cross-functional teams in a high-compliance, fast-paced setting.
2. Champion regulatory excellence, ensuring strict adherence to GMP, MHRA, FDA, and EU standards.
3. Drive a culture of continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and operational innovation.
4. Lead complex site turnarounds, optimise processes, and exceed production KPIs.
5. Build bridges across departments — Quality, Engineering, Validation — to ensure seamless operations.
6. Navigate and lead external audits with confidence and success.
7. Mentor future leaders, developing talent pipelines and upskilling your team.
8. Own compliance, quality, and performance targets from the floor to the boardroom.
Ideal Candidate:
1. A degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience).
2. 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, with 5+ years in sterile operations.
3. Strategic leadership experience with board-level exposure.
4. Proven expertise in aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
5. Strong grasp of Lean/CI tools and manufacturing technologies.
6. EHS and Quality Management System experience.
7. A motivator, a mentor, a problem-solver, and above all — a team player.
