This gorgeous family in Herefordshire is looking for a level-headed and practical nanny to care for their two children, aged 3 and 7 years old. The family lives in a beautiful, cosy cottage in the Herefordshire countryside, featuring panoramic views and a fantastic garden for the children to play in.
The nanny will support the family with school runs in the morning and evening, which includes:
1. Helping the children get ready for school
2. Assisting with breakfast and dinner
3. Supervising homework and reading
4. Creating a calm, loving environment with plenty of child-focused engagement
The children also have afterschool clubs which the nanny will be required to attend with them. They enjoy activities such as cooking, crafting, gardening, playing with Lego, reading stories, visiting the park, and playing card games.
Additional duties include:
1. Preparing for the evening routine after school runs
2. Clearing away breakfast
3. Preparing the children’s bedrooms and play areas
4. Ironing school uniforms
5. Rotating toys
6. Cooking homemade, nutritious meals
During school half terms, the nanny’s hours will change to two full days, allowing for the creation of age-appropriate, engaging activities centered around the children’s interests and developmental needs.
The nanny will also be required to babysit for the family once a month during the week, supporting the children with evening bath and bed routines.
Location: Much Marcle, Ledbury, Herefordshire
Minimum Experience: 2 years’ experience as a nanny
Hours of Work: Average of 20 hours per week (7:15 – 10:15 am and 3 pm – 5:45 pm, plus 2 full days during Half Terms from 7:15 am – 5:45 pm)
Days Required: Monday – Thursday (Occasional Fridays by prior arrangement)
Pets in the Home: Yes, one cat
Other Household Staff: Cleaning staff on a Friday
Driving Required: Yes
Job Start Date: The family are prepared to wait for the right nanny
Pay: £24,932 gross per annum (£25 gross per hour)
