The Security Print Sales Director is responsible for the management of the Security Print Sales Teams and building the Security Print sales capabilities across Authentix. The Director is also responsible for achieving the annual sales revenue goals other strategic objectives. This individual must work closely and effectively with and across all Departments to assure products, solutions, and related marketing tactics are adequately developed to meet ongoing market requirements. The Director is also responsible for executing the sales processes and further developing and administrating incentive systems to drive market share growth. This position is expected to be a primary contributor to the overall leadership of the Security Print Division within Authentix. The Sales Director will rely on the knowledge of and experience of the colleagues within Authentix with security print to sell solutions to our clients that will enable them to protect their products from counterfeit and falsification. This job requires technical and solutions sales experience, and the ability to work closely with customers, the internal Authentix teams to solve our customers’ problems and close business. Advanced knowledge in anti-counterfeiting technologies, manufacturing and printing is preferred. KEY SKILLS Sales leadership and management Teamwork and collaboration Effective communications Customer relationship management Financial management ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement and oversee key corporate processes associated with: ➢ Sales management ➢ Sales forecasting and pipeline ➢ Proposal development and delivery ➢ Sales and incentive compensation programs Staff and develop the Security Print organization with the highest caliber personnel Translating business strategy into practical commercial strategies and measurable business objectives Develop and execute the geographic/vertical marketing and sales strategy Managing the commercial department to achieve and exceed targets Create an overview of business activities and develop an annual plan full of commercial initiatives Manage commercial budget and ensure financial health and objectives Formulate smart pricing strategies and processes Balance short and long-term considerations in addressing relevant challenges Unleash creativity and innovation to overcome business obstacles Encourage meaningful relationships with customers and external stakeholders, stimulating revenue growth Setting measurable targets for direct reports Empowering the team with appropriate support, coaching and resources Identify and where appropriate, develop external partners and relationships Respond to Authentix generated leads and identify new leads through the candidate’s knowledge of the industry and networks. Open up large client target accounts through strategic solution selling. Qualify opportunities and manage through the sales process to deal closure. Document and track deal progress using company’s client relationship management tools Lead and create content for proposal and bid opportunities with the support of the bid team. Manage assigned customers to a high degree of customer satisfaction to ensure contracts are retained and business expands. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; or similar business experience At least five years’ experience working in a high tech, customer facing, sophisticated and complex product company Proven, previous, referenceable experience working independently in role but also having supported turnkey cross functional leadership ADDITIONAL FACTORS RESULTING IN ADDED CONSIDERATION Additional experience beyond the minimum listed will also be prioritized and balanced with depth of education. Direct experience in security printing, track and trace, currency authentication, or serialization is preferred Previous experience operating in multiple disciplines, helping engineers and scientists from diverse fields come together to solve problems and deliver sophisticated solutions. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Up to 60% travel may be required depending on work location Excellent verbal and written knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, 3rd and 4th language is an advantage WORK REQUIREMENTS The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the job. Environment: This job will allow for remote location working primarily from the RJE office in Haarlem or the SPS office in Consett, Co. Durham, UK, depending on the candidate’s nationality.
