Our client is a local, well established business located in the South Leeds area, with a parking facility. They require a Bookkeeper to join their team, to support with the Accounts preparation and Bookkeeping tasks.
The successful candidate will have gained accounts experience within a fast paced SME.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be involved in:
Sales ledger – allocation of payments by cheque and BACS
Raising statements
Reconciliation of payments
Dealing with queries
Credit Control – chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
Payroll
Purchase Ledger
VAT
Typical qualities required for the Bookkeeper:
Ideally AAT PQ / Qualified or QBE Qualified by experience
Have strong accounting and/or bookkeeping skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with confidence with minimum supervision
Have a positive can-do attitude
Have experience in a hands on role in a fast paced SME
Payroll experience is a bonus, though not essential.
