Based at our office in Oxford, you will play a very important role to help develop and expand the Health and Safetyteam with new and existing opportunities. Working on a wide variety of prestigious and unique projects delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
As a Health and Safety Manager at Ridge, you will be exposed to many sectors and many cultures. Supporting the delivery of the projects you will be developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, and evaluating practices and facilities to ensure compliance with legal guidelines.
You will also be required beconduct training sessions, monitor compliance, investigate accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Duties
1. Provide strategic advice on developing and implementing their health and safety policy along with structured and comprehensive risk management systems at any stage of a construction projects or infrastructure projects.
2. Manage and maintain accreditation and H&S office audit
3. Manage and maintain and continuously improve Ridge H&S policy
4. Engagement with SLT on H&S matters
5. Regular interact CPD lunch and learn for H&S relevant topics
6. Provide and maintain induction training and other relevant H&S
7. Provide H&S updates to the business
8. Maintain the internal H&S comms plan
9. Provide H&S advice to staff/business
10. Manage H&S companywide budget.
