Vehicle Technician at Dundonald Toyota
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5:00pm, Friday 8.30am-4pm, Saturday 9-1pm on a rota basis.
OTE up to £42,600, including £34,000 - £36,000 basic per annum + £6,600 bonus potential.
Charles Hurst, Dundonald Toyota is recruiting for a Technician to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside our experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing additional repairs. We aim to be inclusive and welcome flexible working hours. You will report to the accomplished service manager, Adam, and receive ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to perform at your best. Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
2. Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests.
3. Carrying out any additional repairs once authorized by the customer.
4. Performing warranty repairs per the manufacturer’s guidelines and completing relevant write-ups.
5. Taking customers' vehicles out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
6. Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. An MOT licence would be a bonus! Previous experience working with the brand would be advantageous, although not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
