Main duties of the job Work closely with the Head of Service and Clinical Operations manager across the four sites and support the structuring and redevelopment of Paediatric care within the Walk-In centres. Take lead responsibility for ensuring that patient experience of the service is positive and for monitoring and leading improvements in conjunction with annual patient surveys, FFT, and Quality Assurance Framework for community services. Work with Clinical Service manager / Head of Clinical Services, Head of Clinical Governance, and other service managers to improve levels of services and reduce risks. Lead on the clinical competency and development of the staff within the area of paediatrics. Lead Quality and risk management for designated area and investigate, when necessary, incidents to identify avoidable/non avoidable harm and be responsible for corrective actions reporting to and working with senior and corporate teams in the pursuit of harm free care. Provide leadership to a designated team within the WIC/UCC and work at all times within the professional bodies code of practice (NMC /CSP)) Professional Code of Conduct and adhere to the Trust's Policies, Procedures and Clinical Guidelines.
