Sales Manager B2B Food Ingredients Field based (England) Up to £60k package Purpose of the role: Develop sales of the company’s product range through the development of new business opportunities, while maintaining current business activities.
Maintain profit margin of products in line with business requirements and line manager.
Focusing specifically on growing the business profile within Manufacturing.
Responsibilities: To achieve and exceed goals, objectives and budgets which have been agreed with the Business Leader.
To demonstrate the company’s products in a wide range of company situations Develop a clear understanding of all business capabilities and effectively communicate those to new and existing customers To prepare weekly planners, sales reports, project briefs in a timely and professional manner To continuously improve knowledge of the industry To manage all new accounts effectively, efficiently and profitably To maintain and grow sales and margin by customer To negotiate sales and promotions with new and existing customers including local distributors To work with the NPD team and marketing department in the development of new products for customers To prepare and implement the objectives and budget for your operating sector.
To attend exhibitions and trade shows Manage and control overhead spend i.e.
promotional funding Liase with all company departments to maintain high levels of customer service Operate in a cost effective way Complete understanding of markets, customers and competitors To apply knowledge of the Manufacturing sector grow within the sector
