Your new role
The Group Accountant will support the Group Financial Controller and Finance Manager in managing the monthly financial processes of a number of Robertson Group Head Office Companies including Robertson Property Limited, Robertson Residential Managed Properties Limited and RMF Health Limited. Also assisting with Robertson Group Limited. This role will provide valuable experience in undertaking the end to end financial processes for a number of group companies, in addition to involvement in the wider group.
What you'll do:
* Preparation of management accounts for head office companies including Robertson Property Limited, Robertson Residential Managed Properties Limited and RMF Health Limited
* Assist with the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts
* Prepare daily and weekly cash flow reporting
* Budget preparation for head office companies
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Transactional finance activities including:
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Monthly expense claims
* Monthly credit card statements reconciliation
* Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
* Bank and payment administration
* Assisting with any ad hoc matters which arise
What you'll need:
This role would be ideally suited to an experienced accountant seeking involvement in the full range of a company’s financial processes. You'll ideally have worked in a similar organisation and group environment. The ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach is a must along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate and numerate.
