Why come and work at Rugbystore?
We like to think we are a friendly business that works closely together and where everyone lends a hand or their expertise when the need arises. We value our co-workers, partners and customers alike. Although everyone has clear roles, with a close-knit team there is a unique opportunity to see and understand all the different aspects of an online retail business: from our cheerful customer services team, to the busy warehouse, to our creative marketing and design teams, to the embroidery room or the finance department: we all work together – it’s more fun that way too!
Peebles is a fantastic place to work with unrivalled opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts (not just rugby, but mountain biking, fishing, hiking, golf, horse riding, to name just a few). The town is beautiful and an easy commute to and from Edinburgh, a county town, but with a village feel. There are great cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, high street and craft shops, alongside artisan bakers, award winning butchers, museums and galleries. Our local schools are excellent too.
Despite Rugbystore’s growing success at home and abroad, we still maintain those family values which make this a great place to work. Everyone’s door is open and as a small team, we all look out for each other. Whether it’s our Managing Director picking and packing on the warehouse floor post boom Black Friday sales or the Accounts Team popping down to help with product personalisation to meet an urgent last-minute customer order for multiple age personalised rugby shirts– we have each other’s backs! We have fun both in and out of the office – from team quizzes to office parties, or just a quiet catch up over a drink.
