Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:
* To support the Team Manager with the operational management of the duty team.
* To carry a workload requiring exemplary practice in situations of high complexity, and exercising a degree of autonomy.
* To provide direct supervision to staff as directed by the Team Manager.
* To coach/mentor less experienced team members.
* To work within relevant current legislation and the procedural framework of Bedford Borough Council (the Council).
* To work collaboratively with service users and their families to assess their needs and plan and deliver services in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and other legislations applicable to Adult Services.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
