Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Our reputable Design Agency client is currently looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join their team!
Main Responsibilities of the Operations Co-Ordinator:
1. Answering incoming telephone calls
2. Greeting visitors (welcoming and providing refreshments)
3. Maintaining and updating production schedule, organising the Daily Scheduling Meetings (DSM) to coordinate order planning and scheduling with the Sales, Design, and Operations teams.
4. Monitor and report agreed manufacturing design end dates and free issue items or artwork from customers.
5. Liaise and feedback delivery dates and status to account managers (and customers if required).
6. Check that drawings for new Sales Orders are in the production folder and verify revision versions are consistent with sales order.
7. Obtain the most competitive prices for raw materials and fixings and place Purchase Orders with suppliers ensuring costs are equal or less than the estimated value.
8. Progress chase purchases, design, and free issue items.
9. Run delivery notes.
10. Create labels to identify items and delivery information.
11. Organise suitable transport and ensure that delivery points have suitable offloading capabilities.
12. Liaise with installers, raising POs, coordinate equipment arrival/delivery and install dates.
13. Complete month end reports.
14. Any other duties required to support the Operations department and others.
Experience and Skills Required:
1. Experience in administration, coordination of orders/projects, cross department liaison, and excellent communication skills.
2. High energy, motivation, and dependability.
3. Natural organisational skills and a drive to deliver successful results.
4. Enthusiastic, honest, and respectful team player.
5. Experienced and very competent in Excel, Word, and with operational software.
6. Motivated by personal development, training, and growth within the business.
7. Confident to call and host meetings internally to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
8. Ability to perform calmly under pressure.
9. Attention to detail and status across numerous projects.
