If so, we want to hear from you We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team at a specialist SEN Secondary School in Eastleigh. This is a full-time role working with students who require consistent behaviour support and positive role modelling. The Role: Supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges Building positive relationships and promoting emotional regulation Working 1:1 and in small groups under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff Assisting in de-escalating situations and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment Contributing to behaviour plans and pastoral support strategies Requirements: Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs (school-based or equivalent) A calm, patient and confident approach Able to commit to full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:45pm Strong behaviour management and communication skills A genuine passion for supporting SEN students What We Offer: A welcoming and supportive school community Ongoing professional development opportunities The chance to make a meaningful impact every day This role is ideal for teaching assistants, youth workers, or support staff with a passion for behaviour support and SEN.
