We have a FANTASTIC opportunity for a Therapeutic Child Carer to join a therapeutic community that supports young people with harmful sexualized behaviours. The home is a centre of excellence for young males who have exhibited inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviours.
The aim of the service is to reduce and prevent the cycle of abuse by helping young people to recover from their trauma and to acknowledge and address their own sexual behaviours.
**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we can only consider applicants over the age of 21 who have a full driver's licence and a car.**
Role: Therapeutic Child Carer
Salary: £25,019 - £27,038 depending on experience & qualifications
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Hours: 40 hours per week / Varied shift pattern - NO SLEEPS!!
**Please note, if you have an NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People, you are eligible to apply for a Senior Residential Care Worker role!**

About the Role
* To be involved in the direct delivery of services to the young people in accordance with the aims of the company.
* To assist the management team in providing the highest possible standards of care, guidance, support, and protection for the young people and cooperate fully with colleagues.
* To carry out any of the practical tasks outlined on individual job lists.
* Record keeping and administration as required, including supporting auditing and maintenance of children's files.
* To be constantly vigilant on health and safety matters and share concerns immediately with line management.
* To complete mandatory and regulatory training as required by and provided by the organisation.
Requirements
* Full UK manual driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
* Minimum age of 21 due to the needs of the Young People.
* Experience working in health & social care would be advantageous.
* No previous experience is necessary for this position as full training and induction are offered upon starting. We are looking for the right values and traits for the service!
* You must be happy to commute to Telford.
