Job summary Fantastic opportunity to join a well organised and innovative practice as a Salaried GP. We are a busy practice in Dereham close to main road links to Norwich and Kings Lynn. Orchard Surgery has experienced a tremendous amount of positive change over the past 2 years including achieving a Good CQC rating across all areas. We are in a modern purpose-built building and are also in the process of having a refurbishment with additional clinical rooms and improved facilities for our patients and staff. We are a research practice. We are looking for someone who wants to develop in their role with support, and who wants to provide a caring and professional service to our varied 11,300 patient base which is increasing. The role offers flexible working options of 4-6 sessions per week and the opportunity is open to newly qualified and experienced GPs. We use the standard BMA contract and pay indemnity, with 40 days holiday entitlement per annum (pro-Rata, including bank holidays) salary is competitive and also dependent on experience. Our practice currently has 2 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs and a large team of both clinical and clerical colleague. Due to such a multidisciplinary team we have a morning "huddle" as well as regular safeguarding, clinical and governance meetings where knowledge is shared, everyone can have their say and staff are kept up to date with any changes in the practice. Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
