On their behalf, we are seeking an International Growth Manager to support and champion their continued growth across global markets. This role works alongside our client's small customer services team and closely with other parts of the business including the warehouse team, finance, sales, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Telephone and email “front-line response” for your region, being the first point of contact for customer queries as well as outbound calling.
2. Develop an excellent understanding of our clients' products.
3. Fully understand the trade customer experience from Reps calls to stores placing orders, to receiving & building bikes and selling them to consumers.
4. Take and manage orders (consumer and trade) for your region and cover other regions when required.
5. Solve customer problems efficiently and politely, directing technical or fulfillment problems appropriately.
6. Support reps, stores, and distributors with their customer relationships.
7. Act as the link between Head Office and the trade customers in your region.
8. Lead and coach the Reps & Trade Customers to aid their delivery of objectives, and recruit additional team members where necessary.
9. Gain an understanding of the market in your region and develop relationships with key influencers.
10. Monitor competitor activity in your market and provide feedback to the relevant team at head office.
Key Requirements:
1. This role requires a positive can-do attitude and the ability to spot opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
2. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
3. Experience in identifying new sales opportunities and winning customers.
4. Experience in leading, coaching, and recruiting a remote sales force.
5. Ability to manage the sales team to deliver business strategies and targets (including sales and profit).
6. Very good organizational skills.
7. Able to quickly pick up systems (e.g., stock management, trade accounts systems, and the telephone system).
8. Great attention to detail (taking payment, managing orders, communicating with customers, file management).
9. Good communicator, both externally to customers and internally within the team.
10. Polite and patient telephone manner.
11. Calm and unflappable.
12. Comfortable within a small and informal team environment.
13. Fully conversant with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
14. Previous experience dealing directly with customers is a significant advantage.
15. A second language is beneficial.
