Location: Carers Leeds offices in Leeds
The West Yorkshire Carer Breaks (WYCB) project is a new initiative (based on the Respitality model in Scotland). The project will source free, high-quality breaks for unpaid carers, from hospitality, tourism, culture and leisure businesses across the region. Local carers organisations and other delivery partners will then match these breaks to unpaid carers.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for the planning, set up and delivery of this project. They will also manage the WYCB Co-ordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the development of a new name, brand and a digital platform (to which carer breaks will be uploaded);
* Building relationships with hospitality, tourism, culture and leisure businesses across West Yorkshire to source donated carer breaks;
* Leading on the development and delivery of a marketing and communications plan to promote the project to key stakeholders.
The postholder will need to have a proven track record of planning, setting up and managing projects. They must be able to work across different stakeholder groups and sectors to create successful working relationships. The postholder needs to have strong marketing and communications skills and be digitally competent.
