The Practice
DNA Vetcare is a proudly independent group of multi award-winning surgeries, founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeons Alan van Heerden and Dane Walker. Claire Baker joined as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum. Claire heads up the Group’s operations and vet team recruitment.

The Role
We now have a position available for a progressive and exceptional veterinary surgeon within our day team. Our team includes specialists in orthopedics, stem cell therapy, advanced internal medicine, imaging, and experienced general practitioners.
Working towards 24-hour care and achieving the success of adding a full night team has transformed our central Horsham surgery. We offer round-the-clock care with newly purchased equipment including advanced imaging, a full orthopedic theatre, and more.
Our rota and CPD offerings are generous, allowing for a fulfilling hospital case load while ensuring a manageable work-life balance. We appreciate your need for a shorter week following your 1 in 4 weekend, therefore we ask you to work only 2 days.
As a valued veterinary surgeon, our aim is to support your professional growth with our experienced senior management team, who have over 80 years of combined experience in the field.
We're located conveniently for both coast access to Brighton and travel to Gatwick, making it an attractive location for those who enjoy quick access to Europe or time in London.
