Contract Type: 12-month fixed term (maternity cover)
Location: Worcester
Salary: £24,000-£27,000 DOE
My Worcester based client is looking for someone to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis as a legal assistant to their Risk Management team. This position is ideal for someone with strong administration experience who has a keen eye for detail paired with a proactive approach.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Undertake routine administrative tasks such as distributing post and managing spreadsheets.
2. Work on policy documents, including Complaints Handling Procedures.
3. Manage diaries by inputting key dates, sending deadline reminders, and coordinating schedules.
4. Maintain communication with regulatory bodies as required.
5. Draft, format, and proofread letters, documents, and forms.
6. Attend meetings, take minutes, and provide comprehensive support to ensure smooth operations.
7. Support the archiving process and liaise with the operations team.
8. Handle telephone calls, including interactions with individuals wishing to raise complaints.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and Teams.
3. A helpful nature and a desire to work collaboratively.
4. Experience within a legal or professional services environment is advantageous.
5. Previous experience in a client-facing role is desirable but not essential.
