Have relevant qualifications and training (acceptable qualification are listed below); Demonstrate emotional resilience and confidence during challenging situations; Have experience of working with children and young people with Behavioural, Emotional and Social needs and pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and ADHD; Have an enthusiastic, imaginative and caring approach to all children; Be able to work as part of a team, building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, colleagues and other professionals; Have good Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills; Have high expectations of pupils achievements regarding learning, independence and behaviour; Be able to show initiative and be prepared to take responsibility for delivering programs to individual and small groups of pupils as required.
