Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Project Manager to oversee the relocation of our office and operations to a new building in Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the building move, including logistics, physical relocation, and coordinating the transition of finance administration and office operations. The role will involve working closely with the company managing the construction of the new building and overseeing the move from one site to another.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the project management of the office and operations move to the new building in Buckinghamshire.
* Work closely with the company responsible for constructing the new building to ensure timelines and requirements are met.
* Oversee logistics for the physical relocation of office equipment, staff, and operations from the current site to the new location.
* Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors to ensure a smooth transition.
* Manage the finance administration aspects of the move, ensuring all financial processes are handled effectively during the transition.
* Ensure the move is executed within the planned timeline and budget.
* Provide regular updates to senior management regarding the progress of the move.
* Troubleshoot any operational issues during the move and resolve them promptly.
* Lead the logistics team and ensure all aspects of the relocation are efficiently coordinated.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in project management, specifically for office or operations relocations.
* Strong understanding of logistics management and coordinating physical moves.
* Previous experience working on large-scale building moves and working with construction teams.
* Solid experience managing finance administration during transitions or relocations.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
* On-site presence is required regularly to manage the project effectively.
* Previous experience in a hybrid working environment .
Desirable Skills:
* Background in operations management or logistics management .
* Previous experience in building or office relocation projects .
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional tasks.
Additional Information:
* Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension based on project needs.
* Outside IR35 – Must be able to work under this arrangement.
* Working Hours: Hybrid working, with regular on-site presence at both the current and new sites.
