What will you be doing?
This role forms a critical part of Vodafone’s new in-house media team, that will take full strategic and operational accountability of the Paid Social Channel with the Biddable Media team. This change reflects the next phase of digital transformation at Vodafone, and an emphasis on delivering against its Operating Principles of Transparency, Ownership, and Independence.
You will be sitting within the Brand and Demand Generation Pod, so you’ll be working within a wider paid social team but will be working more closely with one Specialist. You’ll be working on campaigns such as Wimbledon, Christmas, iPhone, new phone launches and promotional periods.
Key accountabilities:
1. Be an integral part of the Paid Social team & work closely with the Paid Social Specialist.
2. Execute campaigns to deliver against media and business outcome KPI’s, managing account, campaign tactics setting, reporting and optimisation.
3. Effectively and independently manage accounts in line with best practice.
4. Work with direction from the Paid Social Lead to implement Paid Social strategy.
5. Responsible for executing testing plan and providing high quality analysis.
Who are we looking for?
Hands-on and operational experience of social platforms, specifically Facebook and X, is key, and it would help to have Snapchat and TikTok experience also. We are looking for someone with Paid Social knowledge including targeting strategies, lift study measurement, best practice. Brand and performance experience is also required, demonstrating knowledge in harnessing data and technology to deliver accountable media outcomes.
The following would be ideal, but not a must:
1. Advantageous to have knowledge of Adobe Analytics, tracking tag management / implementation.
2. Good data management and analytical skills, preferably from performing large scale analysis on media spend and performance, with strong attention to detail.
3. Planning experience would be advantageous.
