What you'll be doing As part of a small, dedicated IT team based at the state of the art Hely Hutchinson Centre in Didcot, your primary role is to provide overnight Blue Yonder support to the Hachette UK Distribution team and in the future also be the initial support escalation for Blue Yonder systems in Australia and elsewhere. You will be asked to monitor, maintain, and provide support for the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System. You will be expected to work on the support tickets assigned to the WMS team, liaise with colleagues and customers and escalate as necessary to ensure that tickets are actioned and resolved to the customer's satisfaction as quickly as possible. The role is to work the night shift (primarily 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday) although occasionally you may be asked to provide cover for your colleagues on day shifts. Who we are looking for We are looking for an excellent WMS Analyst, possessing the ability to work with all levels of the Distribution business and IT. You must demonstrate trustworthiness, integrity and honesty and can accept feedback from others positively. Hachette Distribution's business is time critical, therefore you must be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to focus on the present and manage your own tasks accordingly. As this role is an overnight role, you will be expected to be a self-starter and manage your time effectively & efficiently. A strong understanding of Distribution methodologies, processes, and guidelines, along with a proven track record in a Support or Operational role within an organisation is essential, as is the ability to communicate & manage expectations at all levels and have experience of JDA 9.1 Discrete, JDA 2019 or 2021.
