Technical Manager – Residential – South West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package

Working on behalf of a major home builder who is looking to expand their team and currently seeking a Technical Manager for their future developments. Working on new build, traditional build houses and apartments.
Their developments are based around quality rather than quantity with strong standards in design, whilst also providing and maintaining strong relations with internal and external parties.
The company is unique in their own way and is passionate about providing exceptionally well and carefully designed homes, while always maintaining strong relationships.
Technical Coordinator Responsibilities
1. Ensure that all legal requirements are approved to ensure that projects begin and are constructed to the highest standard.
2. Be present on site occasionally in order to carry out site checks.
3. Formulate and continuously develop briefs by organizing applicable information as instructed by the Technical Manager.
4. Follow technical processes and procedures while carrying out your role and improve or address any technical issues to enhance the process of any given project.
5. Check full working drawing packages.
6. Identify all surveys, site investigations, and consultants that would be required on a project.
7. Manage the due diligence exercise on the design information received.
8. Fulfill Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy.
Requirements
1. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a managerial role.
2. Good problem solver and able to work with minimal instruction.
3. Smart, presentable, and happy to deal directly with customers.
4. Punctual, reliable, and possess good practical skills.
5. Degree qualified or equivalent.
6. Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
7. Technical understanding and knowledge of regulatory constraints.
8. Understanding of the planning process.
9. Project Management skills.
10. Demonstrate a continuous professional construction background in design.
11. Substantial experience of new build residential projects predominantly housing schemes.
12. A good working knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Standards.
13. Good team player with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with clients, consultants, and construction teams.
