? Teach GCSE English, Maths, and Science, or Functional Skills (Entry Level to Level 2) in 1:1 or small group settings. ? Support learners with SEND, SEMH, and other complex backgrounds, adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles. ? Help students prepare for exams, develop their confidence in core subjects, and progress towards further education or employment. ? Work collaboratively with schools, social workers, and intervention teams to ensure a holistic approach to student success.
Who We're Looking For:
?? QTS/QTLS-qualified teachers, FE lecturers, or Functional Skills specialists. ?? Tutors with experience supporting SEND learners, particularly those with autism, ADHD, PDA, dyslexia, or SEMH needs. ?? Educators who can motivate, engage, and build confidence in students who have struggled in traditional settings. ?? Experience in alternative education, home tutoring, or college environments is highly desirable. ?? A strong understanding of differentiated learning, scaffolding techniques, and confidence-building strategies .

To be eligible for this role, the potential SEND Specialist Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references.
