Strategically placed within the M25, not far away from Tesco Lea Valley Extra and 5 minutes’ walk from Premier Inn London Edmonton hotel, the site houses 7 production lines producing over 170m cases per year. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Edmonton boasts a wide portfolio of products and pack sizes, whilst being the sole GB provider for Oasis, Bag in Box and Mega Bag in Box, purely for McDonalds. CCEP Edmonton produces 30% of all of CCEP’s volume per year and is one of the highest performing sites across the entire network in Europe and Asia Pacific.
What to expect:
You will be the on-site Environmental expert and lead the implementation of Environment policies and standards, drive improvement initiatives to deliver the site Carbon target in line with the company visions.
Key responsibilities include:
Environment Policy Definition.
Sustaining ISO14001 accreditation.
Implement CCEP Policy and requirements into detailed working instructions to be incorporated into the site Environment management control systems.
Act as the site representative with the Environment Agency.
Be the care taker for the Environment Agency Permit on behalf of the site.
Apply Best Available Technique to reduce impact on the Enviroment.
Define the standards for Environment and identify opportunity for improvement to increase site performance.
Environment Risk Management through Aspect & Impact - System of risk assessments in place, monitored and improved through inclusive involvement of Manufacturing and Distribution to ensure environment risks are recognised and mitigated.
Lead and champion Environment initiatives within manufacturing, role-modelling behaviours and own performance required to achieve the site’s sustainability objectives
Coach the front line teams through Environment related incident investigations to ensure there is no risk to the environment and incorporate learnings into future operational practices.
Lead the site in delivery of the Environment plan and compliance to requirements.
Carry out internal audits to ensure compliance and action-planning.
Manage cost control of agreed energy and water budget and report performance.
Skills & Essentials:
Environnent Management Certification essential eg. NEBOSH, IEMA
Working knowledge of ISO 14001 is required.
Degree in Environmental Science advantageous.
Track records of driving cultural/behavioural change in Environment.
Experience in Managing and Delivering efficiencies and assuring environmental legal compliance.
