Position Overview
Support and Housing Management Coordinator
Fixed Term until March 2026 - Part Time, Working 16.5 hours, spread over 3 days - 10 - 4 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Location: Working in a supported accommodation Social Rehabilitation Project based in New Brancepeth, Durham.
The service supports those with mental health issues who are leaving long-term hospital or residential stays and require some support to develop independent living skills before moving on into the community to live independently. You will be working closely with key partners to ensure the appropriate accommodation placement and support is provided. You will be responsible for the housing management aspect of the accommodation in addition to the provision of personalised support to improve independent living skills, reduce re-offending and address wider support needs to help the individual sustain their tenancy and ultimately move on and live independently.
