Day Rate Contract - Up to £600 pd.

About the Role
Our client, a leading general insurer are seeking an experienced Compliance Advisory Manager to support over an interim period on BAU work.
In this critical role, you will partner with senior stakeholders across the business and advise on business initiatives from a regulatory conduct perspective. These may be around pricing rules, general insurance pricing practices, product governance etc. Our client are looking for a General Insurance expert, with an exceptional technical proficiency and extensive experience across product lines such as home, motor and travel who can lead compliance guidance on new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide business-focused regulatory advice on conduct regulation and compliance risks.
* Manage and develop a Conduct Risk Business Partner, supporting their growth and ensuring best practice.
* Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners.
* Oversee regulatory reporting, horizon scanning, and training initiatives to maintain compliance excellence.
* Act as a centre of excellence, offering guidance on regulatory changes and complex compliance issues.
* Represent the Head of Conduct Risk when required.
What We’re Looking For:
You are an experienced compliance professional with a solid background in the insurance industry. Ideally, you hold a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CII Certificate) and demonstrate:
* Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and conduct priorities.
* Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and deliver against deadlines.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a methodical, enquiring mindset.
* Effective communication skills, simplifying complex issues for diverse audiences.
* Confidence in challenging senior stakeholders constructively.
* Proportionate, risk-based decision-making skills.
