Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities? The young adults we support enjoy activities and are keen to learn new skills and improve existing ones. This position will involve participating and taking the people we support out for activities e.g. playing rounders and swimming. We are currently recruiting for a Relief Support Worker to join one of our supported living services based in Ashford, Kent. You will have the opportunity of supporting young people with a mix of needs and disabilities as part of a fantastically passionate and dedicated team that always aims to provide active and positive behaviour support. Experience of using a digital or mobile app would be desirable however full training will be given. To be a successful Support Worker you must firstly be passionate about supporting people with disabilities and share in our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest and strong. You should be a patient and resilient individual who is willing to invest time in getting to know the people we support and understand what care best supports their needs. Previous experience supporting people with autism is required.
