Job Title: Finance Manager – Leases

Location: Ideally located in Preston or Frimley, close proximity to other BAE sites would be considered. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £65,000 + depending on experience plus executive benefits
\n
\n
What you’ll be doing:
\n
\n
* Identifying where Lease Control Activity is currently performed and negotiate and transition activity to Lease CoE
\n
* Working closely with the Head of Financial Control Shared Services, identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure finance processes are efficient, resilient, and robust
\n
* Conducting assessments of internal controls relating to Leases and recommend improvements to financial process
\n
* Management of Lease CoE Team to ensure process delivery across multiple work streams, demonstrating alignment with Financial Control, and wider BAE Systems, Strategy
\n
* Preparing, Reviewing & Presenting accurate reporting information for a variety of stakeholders
\n
\n
Your skills and experiences:
\n
\n
* Professional certification such as ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA
\n
* Up to date knowledge to apply accounting standard IFRS 16 Leases (Subject Matter Expert)
\n
* A focus on corporate governance and internal audit as UK SOX policies are implemented
\n
* Strong knowledge in Financial Control
\n
* Experience using ERP systems, including SAP – (Tagetik for IFRS 16 is desirable)
\n
* Proficiency in internal control systems
\n
