Job Role: Painting & Decorating Technician\n\nReporting to: Engineering Supervisor\n\nLocation: Leeds\n\nJob Purpose:\n\nCBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Painting & Decorating Technician to join the team working full time 40 hours per work on a rotating shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective reactive and pre planned maintenance services to the contract in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care.\n\nRole Summary:\n\n * \n\n Painting and decorating tasks around the customer site\n\n * \n\n Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks\n\n * \n\n Complete reactive repair tasks\n\n * \n\n Inspect/repair floor, walls, and doors\n\n * \n\n Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture.\n\n * \n\n Inspect/repair doors, windows, and associated furniture.\n\n * \n\n Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required\n\n * \n\n Undertake any tasks as designated by the Contract Manager or Facilities Supervisor\n\n * \n\n Maintain various records and documentation (Maintenance, Reports, Health & Safety and Quality).\n\n * \n\n The effective management of consumable stock, tools and equipment.\n\nPerson Specifications:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator\n\n * \n\n Skilled in painting techniques and methods\n\n * \n\n Plastering experience would be advantageous\n\n * \n\n Ability to perform fabric maintenance based tasks\n\n * \n\n Fully conversant with all relevant HSE requirements and their effective application.\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and quality in work ethic\n\n * \n\n Excellent time management skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team
