In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for playing a key part in future business growth, through the management of the marketing department and a team of marketing specialists.
In return, you can expect a strong benefits package and a competitive salary of up to £75k D.O.E. You will be based out of recently renovated top specification office in Nottingham which provides the hub for this business’ excellent working culture. The role does not afford the opportunity for hybrid working, so the successful candidate must be prepared to commute daily to the office in Nottingham. There is also the opportunity for parking on site.
Responsibilities
* Direct the marketing team in crafting and implementing strategies to attract high-quality prospects via diverse channels such as email, social media, SEO, and paid promotions, while focusing on optimising conversion rates and return on investment.
* Oversee the entire digital marketing function, including search engine optimisation, pay-per-click campaigns, and website management, ensuring these efforts are in line with the company’s broader strategic aims.
* Manage the creation of content for online platforms, from blog posts and newsletters to landing pages, and organise events such as webinars and workshops to foster client relationships and drive new business.
* Work closely with the sales team, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure marketing initiatives are fully aligned with commercial objectives, supporting the sales process with relevant materials and capitalising on event-driven opportunities.
* Continuously assess performance through data analysis and market research, keeping abreast of industry trends and reporting insights to leadership to refine the overall marketing approach.
Skills & Experience
* Candidates must possess a demonstrable track record of success in a similar position, leading a marketing department in a B2B environment.
* Possession of a degree or equivalent qualification is highly advantageous.
* Candidates should consider themselves experts in lead generation.
* It is essential that a candidate has a demonstrable track record in a role considering the full marketing mix, with particular focus on SEO, PPC, email campaigns and content marketing.
* Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
