Job Description
First Contact Physiotherapist
Milton Keynes
A Primary Care Organisation based in Milton Keynes is looking to hire a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) to work across 3 sites on a permanent basis. The centres are looking for someone to work full-time hours over 5 days. As a FCP, you will be the first point of clinical contact for patients presenting with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Using your advanced clinical practice skills, you will assess, diagnose, and provide management options for a wide range of MSK conditions. You will work autonomously, supporting an integrated care pathway that links primary, community, and acute services to ensure patients receive the best possible care. Other day-to-day duties include Multiple Pathologies, Mental Health, Pain Management, and more.
The centres are looking for someone who holds a BSc Degree in Physiotherapy as well as HCPC registration. Ideally, you should have proven experience working at Level 7 in MSK-related areas (including advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment). You must have the ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and make clinical decisions based on your advanced clinical skills. A strong knowledge of MSK assessment, care planning, treatment, and evaluation in highly specialised areas is essential.
