Our client supplies software products to various clients including those in the international Defence sector. They have a requirement for a team member to own relationships with end customers, Systems Integrators, and Value-Added Resellers and to manage the lifecycle from initial enquiry through to purchase.
The Role
* Vetting and qualifying initial enquiries
* Co-ordinating technical assessments with Customer Services / Pre-sales
* Generating quotes in accordance with defined process and policy
* Maintaining account records in CRM (Salesforce)
* Working with Procurement professionals in government and public sectors
* Managing the sales process to successful completion
* Liaising with Finance on invoicing
* Liaising with Customer Services on fulfilment
* Proactively engaging customers on support renewals
* Managing company accounts on customers’ procurement platforms
The Person
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information and will be able to handle challenges thrown up by customers’ aggressive timescales. He or she will be able to reliably manage twenty or thirty concurrent opportunities. This role would suit a candidate who is orientated towards delivering with excellence on incoming enquiries. The role does not carry any responsibility for sales generation.
* Excellent written and telephone communication skills, especially when dealing with non-native English speakers.
* Financial and commercial competence.
* Attention to detail and a process-orientated approach.
* A high level of competence with:
o Salesforce
o Microsoft Office
o Google Docs
