Due to our client’s phenomenal growth, they are looking to appoint an Operations Support Manager to support their Head of Operations.
The role requires your flexibility and ability to multitask in pushing the business forward, taking ownership and responsibility in areas, whilst playing a supporting role in others.
You will have regular interactions with all departments from Logistics, Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Sales, and Procurement.
The Key Accountabilities will include:
1. Facilities & Service Provider management
2. Contractor relationship management, liaison, and coordination
3. Contract & Price Negotiation with service providers
Service providers will include:
1. IT service providers
2. Mobile & desk-based phones
3. Cleaning company
4. Maintenance contractors
5. Insurance providers
6. Photocopier rental and servicing
Maintain office supply inventory at appropriate levels. Ensure restocking and appropriate cost tracking.
Supporting the office and new starters with providing and changing IT equipment. Maintaining a log of IT equipment.
Operations efficiency and excellence:
1. Supports the Head of Operations to spearhead continuous improvement across the business.
2. Identifies opportunities to standardise, document and define policies and procedures.
3. Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
4. Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
5. Working with all operational teams to optimise cross-functional processes and to ensure they work as effectively and efficiently as possible.
6. Taking ownership of miscellaneous operational tasks and requirements.
Health & Safety:
Act as the main safety contact for the office, ensuring employees follow protocols for fire alarms and other security incidents and ensuring appropriate maintenance and upkeep of emergency medical equipment.
Social and Sustainability lead:
Lead the implementation and continual development of the companies’ social and sustainability policies, safeguarding key milestones.
Ensuring data collection across the business to keep us on target, collaborating with departments to consider sustainability and find ways to make improvements.
Project management:
Works on complex projects that fall outside of standard implementation processes, providing organisational and operational support overseeing the day-to-day activities.
Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organisation needs.

3. Excellent organisational skills and efficiency with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Role holder needs to be flexible and able to adapt to the changing requirements of the business as it continues to pursue ambitious growth plans
5. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment including adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
6. Keen negotiator, with previous experience managing contractors & service providers
7. Excellent attention to detail
8. Numerate with strong analytical skills/knowledge
9. IT literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
