Financial Planning Director, Edinburgh As a Financial Planning Director, you'll be at the forefront of empowering clients to achieve their financial planning goals through strategic planning and insightful advice. This role demands a financial planning professional with a deep understanding of financial markets, a knack for holistic financial planning, and the ability to forge lasting client relationships with High Net Worth clients. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive Financial Planning by conducting thorough financial assessments to understand clients' current financial positions. Develop and implement personalised, holistic financial plans addressing investment, retirement, tax, estate, and insurance considerations. Client Relationship Management: Nurture and expand client relationships through effective communication and tailored financial guidance. Provide ongoing support and regular updates to ensure alignment with clients' evolving needs. Market Analysis and Investment Strategy: Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes. Formulate and execute investment strategies in line with clients' risk tolerance and financial objectives. Risk Management: Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage to mitigate financial risks. Collaborate with clients to establish contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances. Tax Planning: Work closely with clients to optimise tax strategies and minimise liabilities. Stay informed about tax code changes and their potential impact on clients' financial plans. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as legal and estate planning, to provide comprehensive financial solutions. Share insights and best practices to contribute to the collective expertise of the organisation. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree ideally in Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum Level 4 CII, CISI or LIBF qualification but preference for level 6 Proven experience as a Financial Planner with a focus working with HNW & UHNW clients. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
