Operations Manager
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a permanent position as an Operations Manager for our high-end retail client based in Birmingham. The purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre, developing and maintaining an outstanding knowledge of systems, processes, and services, and ensuring standards and health & safety requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the annual throughput of c.4 million units in a secure environment.
2. Fulfilment of stock to 250+ stores nationwide and 500,000 e-commerce orders.
3. Manage an annual warehouse budget.
4. Drive performance and KPIs through effective management.
5. Responsible for an average of 90 indirect operational and administration staff.
6. Manage all aspects of new stock deliveries into the DC.
7. Manage the reverse flow of goods from stores to their agreed inventory disposition.
8. First-line problem resolution for Logistics Warehouse Management.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as an Operations Manager or strong Supervisor experience.
2. IOSH Qualified.
3. Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Packages.
4. Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
