About the Role: Teach English Language and/or English Literature at A Level. Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Support students in preparing for their A Level English examinations. Provide guidance and feedback on students' written work and coursework. Foster a love of English and inspire students to pursue their interests in literature and language. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the college. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in English Language and/or English Literature. Demonstrates a passion for teaching English and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the A Level English specifications. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
