As Planning Manager, you’ll be directly involved in making a difference to the health of the people of Wales by managing the delivery of key areas of work that help Public Health Wales achieve its Long Term Strategy (2023-35). You’ll work in a team responsible for the delivery of our three year Strategic Plan and ensuring that we work in a collaboratively across the organisation to develop a balanced plan that meets the needs of our key stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to lead and manage key organisational-level projects working with a range of colleagues from across the organisation. You’ll use your proven people and planning skills to develop and implement ways that we are working effectively with our partners across the public health system to deliver our Long Term Strategy. Your excellent written communication skills will be utilised to ensure our plans are accessible and understandable for everyone interested in how we plan to achieve a healthier Wales. We will also need to quickly digest and summarise key planning guidance, policies and legislation where necessary to ensure our team and our stakeholders understand the implications and actions required.
