Job Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a First Response Advisor to handle incoming contacts for the Front Door Team. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working as part of a fast-paced supportive team to provide an effective first point of contact for the customers of Adult Social Care as directed by managers on behalf of social care staff and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Some duties of your role will be:
* Answer incoming calls and direct support to the correct service.
* Signpost to appropriate services.
* Provide information on services available around the Knowsley area.
* Manage email contacts and direct to the correct service.
* Generate contacts for multiple service areas.
* Complete referrals to third sector providers where appropriate.
* Access sensitive information and follow GDPR guidelines.
You will also need to be computer literate, have confident customer service experience, and the ability to work under pressure of high call volumes. Call handling experience is essential for this post.
